Today, is a day, for Marketing!
How regularly do you advertise and market your business online?
Are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Are you being consistent?
One of the best ways to ensure a steady flow of organic, naturally occurring traffic to any domain is to continually be working on your varied methods of SEO.
Now… what is regular for one person may not be regular practice for another. (At least that’s what some people argue anyway.)
While efforts would be optimum if they were exercised daily, it’s ultimately about consistency.
If you are in the habit of marketing articles or you are a fan of link building, you need to figure out how often (not infrequent) you are going to do these tasks.
Mix things up. On an average, utilize a minimum of 3 to 5 SEO techniques at any given time and maintain you schedule that you set for yourself. (The less amount of days that you apply yourself, the more time I would spend doing those tasks. [No less than 15-30 minutes, no more than 2 hours. Not including set up.])
If you are doing what you do daily, keep it up! Every other day…? Twice a week…? Keep things going on a regular basis as search engines love activity and fresh content.
This is what I mean by being regular.
If you aren’t blogging, you should be! Even if your blog isn’t your main website, they can be great traffic magnets. Blog platforms (especially WordPress) typically have a ‘ping’ feature that notifies a dozen or more directories whenever you upload a new post/article.
Other ‘free’ SEO methods you could start doing (other than blogging)…
- Press Release Marketing
- Article Marketing
- Link Building / Backlinking
- Video Marketing
- Etc, etc.
What you aren’t familiar with, stay tuned for more. And… don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. As I like to say, “Just Google It!”
Most importantly, if time does not allow… ‘Stop’ making excuses, OR, ‘Start’ trading dollars for time.
